DESCRIPTION:We’ll begin replacing dead\, fallen\, and severely damaged trees this week.  \nA signature landscape element in Blossom Rock is the Street Tree Program. Street trees and park trees create an urban forest\, helping to reduce the heat island effect\, provide shade for pedestrian walkways\, and assist in calming traffic. \nIn addition\, trees help to reduce stormwater run-off and reduce cooling costs throughout the community. Street trees offer health and wellness benefits by simply creating a more welcoming and inviting outdoors to walk and ride bikes.
