Apache Junction Holiday Program and Light Parade

Join the city of Apache Junction Parks & Recreation for the annual holiday program and light parade.  There will be lots of activities throughout the evening for the whole family! Activities include: Santa, vendor booths, arts and crafts, games, music, inflatables, food, Tree Lighting at the Focal Point and will conclude with the Annual Holiday Light Parade. Most of the youth activities will be free but there will be vendors and food options.

The Light Parade starts at 7 p.m. It begins at Phelps/Main Street heads west to Thunderbird, turns and comes back to Phelps Road. Expect road closures will be from Idaho to Ironwood from about 5 to 10 p.m. or until roads are clear and can safely be open.

Parking at the event. There will be parking in the dirt lots east of the Park, please don’t park in areas designated for business. We recommend not using North Apache Trail for a pass through, as this area will be slowed and will have pedestrian traffic. You will not be able to exit to Main street from North Apache Trail after 5 p.m. Please view the following maps for further details:
