Tell us a bit about yourself. Where did you grow up?
I’m a native Phoenician with deep roots in both Phoenix and Tempe. I’ve always appreciated the warmth, sunlight, and natural beauty of Arizona — it’s home in every sense of the word.
What does life outside of work look like for you? Any hobbies or passions?
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to new destinations, playing and watching sports, and exploring new restaurants. I love experiencing new cultures and cuisines whenever I get the chance.
Can you share a bit about your professional background?
I’ve spent more than a decade in large-scale community management, overseeing nearly every department within the industry. My passion lies in creating a positive experience for the residents we serve and building communities people are proud to call home.
What experiences have best prepared you for this role at Blossom Rock?
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead all major operational departments within community associations — including landscape, maintenance, community standards, modifications, IT, and administration.
This well-rounded experience has given me a strong foundation to support a growing and dynamic community like Blossom Rock.
What drew you to the opportunity at Blossom Rock?
What stood out to me was the chance to be part of a new and evolving community. There’s something truly special about helping shape the early identity and culture of a place — and Blossom Rock presents an exciting opportunity to do just that.
What excites you most about this community?
Coming from an established and maturing community, I’m energized by the opportunity to contribute to something new. I’m excited to help lay the groundwork for long-term success and to be part of a community as it grows and takes shape.
What do you see as the role of Community Life in a place like Blossom Rock?
Community Life plays a vital role in building trust, fostering connection, and helping residents feel at home. It’s about creating meaningful experiences, developing partnerships with residents, and cultivating a sense of belonging
What values or qualities do you believe help build a strong and connected community?
Trust, transparency, and a spirit of collaboration are key. A strong community is built when people feel heard, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.
How do you hope to engage with residents in your first few months?
I’m looking forward to meeting residents as they move into the community and getting to know them through our events and gatherings. Building relationships early on is important, and I plan to be present, approachable, and actively involved from day one.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Japan is at the top of my travel list. I’ve always been fascinated by its rich culture and deep connection to nature, and I’d love to visit its renowned botanical and bonsai gardens.
Is there anything else you'd like the Blossom Rock community to know as you step into this role?
My door is always open. I’m here to serve the community and to help ensure that Blossom Rock is not only beautiful, but also welcoming and well-managed. I’m committed to working hard on behalf of our residents and creating a place we’re all proud to call home.
Feel free to send Mike an email or stop by the Brookfield sales office — or soon, The Dutch — to say hello in person.
