Meet Steve and Rohi Akhbari. After retiring and looking to be closer to family, they discovered Blossom Rock and immediately knew it was the perfect place to call home. Read on to learn what they love most about their new home, what makes the community unique, and how they’ve embraced life here.
What inspired you to choose Blossom Rock as your home?
We were looking to move closer to our daughter, and our friend at Lennar told us about this new amazing community. Once we saw the model homes, we were hooked.
Tell us briefly about yourselves.
We are both retired and have been here for 9 months, and we love being close to our kids and granddaughter. We enjoy tending to our garden in the backyard, taking walks, and traveling.
What sets Blossom Rock apart from other communities you’ve lived in?
Love that there are parks near all the homes and the walking paths. The events we have been a part of are here have been a lot of fun, they make everyone feel included.
How did you first become involved in the community?
At the first mixer, we met people who live here in the neighborhood — as well as staff — and everyone made us feel welcome. We enjoy the events and like helping and participating.
If you could say something to your neighbors, what would it be?
Thank you all for making this neighborhood feel extra welcoming to everyone. Thanks for always looking out for each other and saying hi! A smile or wave goes a long way!
