Proposition 494: Fire and Medical bond proposal

The Superstition Fire and Medical District is asking voters to consider Proposition 494, a $33.8 million bond to fund improvements to fire stations, emergency equipment, training facilities, and response vehicles.
With emergency calls up more than 60% over the last decade, the funding would help maintain quick response times, replace aging equipment, and support firefighter safety and training.
Estimated homeowner cost: About $48–$49 per year, based on assessed property value.
